  • Self-Driven Learning: Quickly grasp the scope, architecture, and objectives of the Finance Transformation project with minimal supervision and streamlined knowledge transfer.
  • Proactive Engagement: Utilize team support efficiently to fill gaps in understanding while independently driving your own onboarding momentum.

Database, ETL & API Quality Assurance

  • Database Knowledge & Testing: Apply strong database concepts to perform backend testing. Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data models, schemas, data integrity, and business logic.
  • ETL Testing: Demonstrate a solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines. Perform comprehensive source-to-target mapping verification and data reconciliation.
  • API Testing: Conduct thorough API testing using Postman to validate request/response payloads, status codes, authentication, and integration points across the finance platform.
  • Out-of-the-Box Validation: Think creatively to design edge-case scenarios for complex financial data streams and database integrations.

Test Management & Defect Lifecycle

  • Azure DevOps (ADO): Fully manage the testing lifecycle within Azure DevOps, including writing, organizing, and executing clear, comprehensive test cases.
  • Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track software/data defects with meticulous accuracy in ADO, ensuring the development team has precise details (logs, query results, payloads) for rapid resolution.

Agile Collaboration & Time Zone Flexibility

  • Ceremony Engagement: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Refinement, and Retrospectives), providing valuable insights and progress updates.
  • UK Shift Overlap: Maintain the flexibility to overlap a few hours with the UK working hours as required to ensure smooth collaboration, real-time communication, and alignment with the UK2 team.
  • Cross-Functional Flexibility: Maintain the agility required to work across different sub-teams and workstreams within the broader Finance Transformation initiative as priorities shift.
