Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with strong expertise in Test Planning, Test Strategy, Functional Testing, SIT, and UAT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test execution, defect management, reporting, and adherence to testing best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Approach documents.
- Create and manage Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure complete test coverage.
- Design, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, defect reports, and test completion summaries.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to organizational testing standards, methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Support test estimations, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Test Planning, Test Strategy, and Requirements Traceability.
- Hands-on experience in SIT and UAT testing.
- Strong knowledge of Functional Testing methodologies.
- Experience with defect lifecycle management and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent skills in test reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Understanding of software development and testing life cycles (SDLC/STLC).
- Ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios and coverage gaps.
