Our client is a leading organisation undergoing a significant customer experience and digital transformation initiative. As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of a customer-facing portal integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused testing professional who enjoys working across business and technology teams, coordinating UAT activities, managing defects, and validating end-to-end customer journeys. You'll join a collaborative Agile delivery team where your contribution will directly impact customer experience and business outcomes.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Apply and execute the agreed testing strategy across customer portal and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
- Review business, functional and customer journey requirements to identify testing scope, dependencies, and risks.
- Design and coordinate SIT and UAT activities across Agile sprint cycles.
- Support Business SMEs in developing and executing comprehensive test cases focused on end-to-end customer journeys.
- Validate front-end functionality, integrations, APIs, authentication services, and backend data accuracy.
- Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing activities across releases and sprint deliveries.
- Track testing progress, defects, risks, and outcomes while ensuring testing milestones are achieved.
- Log, triage, prioritise, and manage defects through to resolution in collaboration with developers and delivery partners.
- Re-test fixes and validate end-to-end functionality across the customer portal and D365 environments.
- Produce clear testing reports, quality assessments, and Test Summary Reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs, Developers, D365 specialists and UX teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, showcases and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes, governance and quality assurance practices.
Your Background
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience working as a Test Analyst within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong experience testing customer-facing portals, enterprise applications and integrated systems.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience testing APIs, system integrations and data synchronisation processes.
- Strong experience using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking and reporting.
- Experience validating customer journeys, business processes and user experience requirements.
- Exposure to authentication and access management testing, including Azure AD and B2C environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 testing will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- ISTQB certification will be viewed favourably.
