As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a dedicated QA Document Specialist to join our quality team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management:
Review new/revised documentation for compliance with SQF standards, manage document request mailbox, and create COA templates and customer standards.
Quality Assurance:
Track raw material and finished goods lab status, communicate with external labs, and create accurate Certificates of Analysis against lab results and specifications.
Communication:
Maintain timely correspondence with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding product quality, documentation needs, and escalate issues when necessary.
Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years of quality experience in the food industry is a MUST
Experience in Food Quality Documentation (Allergen statements, Country of Origin, Letters of Guarantee, Kosher Certifications, Certificate of Treatment, SQF certificate, Nutritional information, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to meet strict deadlines, multitask effectively and work well in a team environment,
No sensitivity to food or strong spice aromas.
