Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks. You will design and implement automated test frameworks, write robust test scripts, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure new features meet functional and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automated UI and API test suites.
Collaborate with developers to define testable requirements and edge cases.
Create test plans, scenarios, and data sets based on product specifications.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
Investigate test failures and report bugs with detailed documentation.
Maintain and improve test frameworks and documentation.
Contribute to quality standards and best practices across the engineering team.
Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus).
3+ years of experience in automated testing of API and web applications.
Experience with one or more test automation frameworks and tools.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Experience testing RESTful APIs and front-end applications.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good communication and documentation habits.
Nice to Have:
Experience with performance or load testing tools.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP).
Understanding of containerized environments (Docker).
Familiar with PHPUnit, Selenium, Jest, Vitest, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Familiarity with Laravel framework.
