Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented andskilled Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our conversational interface and frontend UI components. You will partner closely with frontend engineers, UX designers, and product managers to define test plans, validate implementations, and ensure seamless user experiences through rigorous testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute comprehensive test plans for conversational UI features, Canvas integrations, and frontend components developed using JavaScript, Lit, and Web Components.
Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to identify and document issues clearly and concisely.
Validate user interactions, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure feature completeness and adherence to specifications.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Experience testing conversational interfaces, chatbots, or related user-centric applications.
Key Skills Required:
Must have:
10+ years of experience in functional and integration testing
Experience writing automated UI tests using tools like MABL, Katalon Studio or Testim.io
Basic scripting in JavaScript or Python for test automation extensions
Independent, self-driven and ownership mindset
Nice to have:
Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in cloud environments
Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Good understanding of frontend development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React).
