Position – Test Lead – Automation (Selenium/Playwright)
Experience – 8+ years
Location – Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java) and Playwright.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation test failures.
- Write SQL queries to validate backend data and database integrity.
- Manage automation code repositories using Git/GitHub.
- Drive automation initiatives and quality engineering best practices as a hands-on individual contributor.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of QE/Test Automation experience
- Selenium with Java (Mandatory)
- Playwright (Mandatory)
- Automation Framework Development
- API Testing (REST Assured/Postman)
- SQL & Database Validation
- Git/GitHub
- Strong OOP & Programming Skills (Java/Python/TypeScript/C#)
