Contract Duration: 12 months (with possible extension of 24 months)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Canberra preferred). Office locations are in the capital cities of the selected states.
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing practices, oversee testing resources, and ensure software quality. The role involves defining strategies, planning and monitoring execution, and providing objective assessments to support decision making. It requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and independent decision making.

We are a preferred supplier to Commonwealth and State Government departments, as well as placing resources into enterprise organisations across various industries. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement test strategies, ensuring effective execution and quality assurance.
Define and oversee testing methodologies, frameworks, and automation approaches.
Identify, analyse, and manage defects, test coverage, and overall software quality.
Ensure best practices in test automation, performance testing, and security testing.
Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to align testing processes with business objectives.
Lead and mentor testing teams, providing technical guidance and professional development support.
Oversee resource planning, test environments, and performance monitoring.
Manage reporting, documentation, and insights into testing outcomes and business impact.
Drive innovation, process improvements, and continuous development of testing methodologies.
Essential Skills Required:
Candidates must demonstrate expertise in:
Test Management and Execution – Experience in leading test strategies, managing testing processes, and ensuring quality assurance.
Testing Tools and Methodologies – Proven ability to implement testing tools, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication – Strong capability in managing relationships, resolving issues, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Performance Management – Experience in leading teams, setting quality benchmarks, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.
Specialist Advice and Risk Management – Ability to provide expert recommendations on testing, risk mitigation, and compliance.
