Overview:
PFH Technology is partnering with a leading Dublin-based client to appoint an experienced Test Manager (5+ years’ experience) to lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across a large-scale, multi-workstream programme.
This role requires a highly capable professional with a strong understanding of UAT processes, stakeholder engagement, and cross-organisational coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring testing delivery aligns with business objectives, programme timelines, and quality standards in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and communicate the overall testing strategy for the programme
- Lead and coordinate UAT execution activities across multiple workstreams, releases, and organisations
- Prepare, execute, and document comprehensive test cases based on business and functional requirements
- Ensure test coverage and UAT scope are aligned with business needs and programme objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business processes and system requirements
- Provide high-quality insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Review and validate test cases developed by internal teams and third parties
- Identify, track, and report defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Escalate risks and issues that may impact critical deadlines or delivery milestones
- Manage competing priorities and ensure timely delivery under tight deadlines
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Test Manager / UAT Lead role (mandatory requirement)
- Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and methodologies
- Proven experience coordinating UAT across large, multi-workstream programmes
- Experience working across multiple organisations and stakeholder groups
- Proficiency with defect management tools such as JIRA
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Mandatory Requirements:
- Professional experience of 5+ years in a specialised Test Manager role is must.
- Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications in Software Testing / Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) are highly desirable.
