Role Overview
What role you will play in Team:
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager (Quality Lead) to lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across multiple projects within a Retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test management, stakeholder engagement, test automation governance, and delivering high-quality solutions in Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and govern test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes across project portfolios.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers and Test Analysts, ensuring effective workload management and capability development.
- Collaborate with business, product, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test execution outcomes.
- Oversee and provide governance for test automation frameworks and automation strategy implementation (preferred).
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessments, escalating issues where required.
- Manage testing environments, test data requirements, and release validation activities.
- Produce and present testing metrics, dashboards, Test Status Reports (TSRs), and quality insights to stakeholders.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production verification, and post-release validation activities.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and delivery quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Manager, Test Lead, or Quality Lead managing testing teams across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as PractiTest, Jira, and ALM.
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience managing both manual and automated testing initiatives.
- Working knowledge of API and automation testing tools including Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, and Selenium.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps solutions, preferably involving:
- Timesheet Management
- Allowances Management
- Cash Discrepancy Management
- Staff Management
- Workforce Allocation
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience within the Retail domain, with a strong understanding of retail business processes and operations.
