Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor/Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)
Travel Requirement: None
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Level: Mid to Senior Level (5–7 years experience with 2+ years in leadership)

Compensation:

Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our quality team and ensure compliance across production—from incoming materials to final assemblies. This leadership role is hands-on and requires deep expertise in ISO 9001, IPC standards, and UL certifications. You’ll oversee inspections, improve documentation, mentor QA technicians, and help shape a culture focused on quality and continuous improvement within our electronics manufacturing environment.

Top Requirements:

5–7 years of QA/QC experience in electronics manufacturing
2+ years in a leadership or supervisory QA role
Strong working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, RoHS compliance, and UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A)
Proven success with ISO 9001-certified Quality Management Systems
Experience with inspection of PCBs, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal
Strong root cause analysis and CAPA implementation skills

Educational Requirement:

High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred

Key Responsibilities (Condensed to 5 Core Points):

Lead and oversee daily QA operations and internal audits for compliance with ISO 9001 and UL standards
Conduct and manage inspections of PCBs, electronic assemblies, and sheet metal components
Maintain and improve quality documentation including control plans and compliance records
Investigate non-conformances; implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and track/report metrics (e.g., yield, defect rates, RMAs)

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and improve the QMS; ensure audit-readiness for ISO, UL, and customer audits
Supervise, coach, and mentor the QA team
Lead UL certification processes and compliance efforts
Monitor and report on supplier performance; contribute to vendor qualification
Use ERP and QMS systems to track quality data and report trends

Preferred Tools & Systems:

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with QMS/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and digital inspection tools
