In this role, you will support the Quality Assurance Coordinator in ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulatory standards within the residential programs.

Responsibilities:

Provide supportive services to program staff regarding compliance with OPWDD regulations
Conduct internal audits as needed and prepare detailed written reports of findings
Conduct thorough investigation of Reportable Incidents as defined by OPWDD Part 624 guidelines
Provide detailed and timely written investigation reports using the Justice Center and OPWDD-approved format
Complete Justice Center and OPWDD-approved incident investigation certification program and maintain certification as an Investigator
Collaborate with the QA Coordinator in maintaining the OPWDD Incident Report Management Application (IRMA) and timely submissions of investigative reports and Corrective Action Plans (CAPS)

Participate in trainings and Incident Review Committee meetings as needed

Qualifications:

HS Diploma and at least 4 years’ experience working with Developmentally Disabled population
Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Familiarity with database maintenance.
Ability to acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of OPWDD regulations and Quality Assurance compliance protocols
Well-developed communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding incidents and investigations
Willing and able to travel island-wide to residences as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate need for timely Incident Reporting

Core Work Schedule: 40 hrs./wk., Mon.-Fri., 9a-5p (with flexibility)

Salary: $64,350/yr.

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
