e&e is seeking a Tester for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!
We are seeking a skilledTester to support a large-scale modernization project within a government agency. This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software through structured testing strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with technical leads, business analysts, and project managers to plan, design, and execute comprehensive testing efforts across multiple development teams.
Responsibilities:
Plan, construct, and execute product, system, unit, load, volume, and network tests.
Participate in and support software release control processes.
Develop and manage test plans, test scenarios, and scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Collaborate with QA Lead and project stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and high-quality software delivery.
Utilize modern testing tools and methodologies to maintain and improve test coverage and efficiency.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance with testing standards.
Support the definition and enhancement of QA processes aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Test Manager Suite or a similar QA toolset.
5+ years of experience with SOAP UI, Load UI/Load testing, SQL Server, LDAP, and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
4+ years of experience in software testing roles within enterprise or government environments.
3+ years of experience developing test plans and coordinating SIT and UAT.
2+ years of experience working within Agile development frameworks.
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Visio, Project, and Team Foundation Server (DevOps).
