Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS/Android), web platforms, and backend APIs.

Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Appium, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.

Conduct comprehensive API testing to ensure integration accuracy, performance efficiency, and backend security.

Perform database testing and administration on MS SQL, focusing on data integrity, performance optimization, and query tuning.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including developers and product managers—to define effective test strategies and align with business goals.

Lead customer-facing activities, including requirement analysis, test plan walkthroughs, and defect resolution sessions.

Prepare and maintain detailed QA documentation, including test cases, defect logs, and test summary reports, ensuring adherence to QA standards.

Mentor junior QA engineers and promote industry best practices in automation and testing methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Expertise

8–10 years of experience in manual, automation, and mobile testing (iOS and Android).

Proficient with automation and testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Postman.

Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.

Solid experience in MS SQL database administration, including performance tuning and efficient query design.

Communication & Soft Skills

Versant English score of 70+ (or equivalent) with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of handling client-facing roles and explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences.

Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
