Due to the continuous growth of our company, we are currently looking for a UAT Tester (Banking) to join our team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a UAT Tester with a strong background in digital banking, skilled in both manual and automation testing to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and execute comprehensive test plans. He/She will identify and resolve defects, conduct end-to-end and regression testing, and ensure secure, user-friendly customer experiences while validating compliance with regulatory and security standards.
Responsibilities
Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications.
Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
Perform end-to-end testing for customer journeys, including account opening, transactions, payments, and authentication processes.
Validate system compliance with banking regulations and security policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
Provide detailed test reports, including defect trends and recommendations for process improvements.
Ensure digital banking channels provide a secure, user-friendly, and efficient customer experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
2+ years in UAT testing in core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
