Position Overview:
The Quality Control Expert will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards within our aviation-related processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with quality management systems, a strong understanding of aviation safety standards, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance product and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
Perform regular quality audits, inspections, and testing of aviation-related products and services to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Develop and enforce corrective and preventive action plans for non-conformances identified during audits.
Collaborate to drive quality improvement initiatives across all stages of service delivery.
Analyze and report on quality metrics and data, providing insights for decision-making and process improvement.
Conduct training and provide support to team members on quality standards, procedures, and regulations.
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements specific to aviation, including FAA, EASA, and other international standards.
Prepare for and manage external quality audits and certification processes.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure best practices are adopted.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in quality control or quality assurance, and aviation industry.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and certification processes.
In-depth understanding of aviation safety regulations and quality management systems, including knowledge of FAA/EASA standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
