Job Summary – Quality Control Assistant

The Quality Control Assistant supports the QC Manager by assisting in a range of quality control and compliance tasks. This role involves gathering data, overseeing QC staff, processing approvals, and managing communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and compile production data from inspection and office staff to generate end-of-day reports.
Assist in reviewing and approving product packing, ticketing, and packing details submitted by suppliers.
Respond to emails related to retailer/packing compliance and accuracy.
Update and distribute SO Forms, outlining customer-specific requirements.
Review and approve Global/HBE/USA carton layouts.
Support the vendor claims process.
Assist in supervising QC staff responsible for performing inspections.
Manage QC inventory and maintain accurate records.
Undertake special projects as assigned by the QC Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong people skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Energetic and adaptable to various tasks as needed.
