Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure coverage across multiple applications.
Develop and run integration and regression test suites.
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and execute testing criteria.
Identify, record, and track software defects to enhance product quality.
Utilize TestNG framework for the development of test cases and test suites.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure testing capabilities are integrated.
Implement continuous testing practices within Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
Monitor automated tests and identify areas for improvement.
Collect and analyze test metrics to drive improvements in the testing process.
Stay updated with industry trends in automation testing tools and methodologies.
Assist in troubleshooting production issues reported by users.
Train and mentor junior testers in automation best practices.
Ensure compliance with QA best practices and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, focusing on automation.
Proficient in using Selenium WebDriver for automated testing.
Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
Familiarity with API Testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Ability to write clear and concise test documentation and reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience troubleshooting application production issues.
Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
