- Driving Team towards Zero Defect Culture and shift management- Daily review of plant rejections with Quality & Production team and have complete analysis of rejections.
- Ensure actions on rejections are initiated immediately with team and actions are documented for review.
- Ensure effectiveness of process audits & immediate actions on non-conformances.- Develop and monitor overall process quality through audits. Review the status of audits and focus on key areas.
- Prepare periodic reports on quality and review plant quality indices and reviews
- Quality assurance of outgoing products and ensure that key quality targets are achieved.
- Drive improvement actions with multidisciplinary teams, robust controls & poka-yoke. Conduct statistical studies for key characteristic of the processes
- Interface with customers, understand specified & implied requirements and complete 8D analysis as required
- Establish standards and clear quality methods to be followed on shop floor
- Increase quality awareness through quality-related trainings and quality mentor implementation.
- Monitor process changes and changes in product tolerances arising out of customer issues or product upgradation requirements.
- Process, Product, layout and layered audits and closure of anomalies / non conformities
- Co-ordination for the Calibration activity, carrying out Destructive and Non Destructive tests as per sampling plan
- Awareness of IATF16949 , Quality Tools like 7 QC, 8d analysis
