The Quality Control Specialist will ensure the quality of service performed for customers by inspecting the work completed by field technicians and laborers.
. Cleaning the yard, maintaining a running inventory, and unloading and organizing materials used by customers
. Operate forklift
. Work in the field and upload data from the field when work is reviewed
. Performing truck inspection
. Travel to job sites, reviewing work and taking photos
. Correcting as-built maps on the job site
. Complete Quality Control forms on work inspected and submit electronically
. Serve as point of contact for customer’s local management on escalations/high priority issues that need resolution
. Give recommendations for improved performance based on the work inspected
. Perform Job Site Observations
. Follow all company policy and procedures
. Adhere to safety policy
. Must be willing to travel (assume travel to be 80%)
Education:
High school diploma or GED; two years of experience in electronics, CATV, telecommunications or related field.
Requirements:
Position Requirements:
Field experience in telecommunications construction or construction with emphasis on underground machine operation
Ability to read and interpret Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure field work is completed to job standard
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be able to work weekends and nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
