Trainee Quality Engineer
– Job Description Our client are a precision engineering company supporting the motor sport (F1), aerospace, and medical sectors. We’re looking for a driven Trainee Quality Engineer eager to build a long-term career in quality and precision engineering. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting AS9100 quality compliance Assisting with internal audits and documentation updates Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections using:
Verniers, micrometers, height gauges CMM equipment (full training provided) Recording inspection data and ensuring full traceability Assisting with non-conformance investigations and CAPA Supporting continuous improvement activities Helping prepare FAIRs, inspection reports, and quality metrics
What You’ll Bring Basic engineering or manufacturing understanding Strong attention to detail Good communication and organisation Microsoft Office skills A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude Key Details Salary: £13–£14 per hour
Hours:
39 per week overtime
