Due to continued growth, we now have an
exciting
opportunity for a Trainee Radiographer. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running and is keen to learn on the job. You must have a keen eye for detail and be keen to build a good understanding of the Radiographic method.
Required skills and experience:
Good IT literacy skills (MS Office/Excel/Word) Manage multiple priorities with close
attention to detail
Able to follow instructions as well as being a solutions provider Able to work unaided and be a self-starter
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You will work within the Radiographic Department and gain the knowledge, training, and experience in order to attain Level 2 qualification/certification in film and non-film techniques.
Key activities:
Actively participating in a training programme / apprenticeship Have and pass a radiation medical assessment as part of becoming a classified worker Obtaining the experience hours required prior to examinations To attain a good understanding of Product Technology Gain an understanding of the departments quality system Gain an understanding of the department’s functional checks Testing of customers parts under the guidance of Level 2/3 personnel To participate in courses and complete exams at/by an approved training facility
