Training & Quality Specialist – DHL eCommerce
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Full-Time | Warehouse Environment – Night Shift

We’re looking for a Training & Quality Specialist (TQS) to support our Distribution Center through high‑quality training, coaching, and auditing. If you’re passionate about helping others succeed, maintaining strong quality standards, and improving processes, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Training & Development
- Deliver engaging training and orientation for hourly and agency workers using Training the DHL Way methods.
- Provide ongoing on‑the‑job training, cross‑training, and coaching across all DC departments (EN, IB, OB, Dock/Receiving).
- Support employees throughout their first 30 days and first‑year journey, ensuring readiness and confidence in their roles.
- Train employees on new processes and procedures, ensuring strong understanding and smooth transitions.
- Administer recurrent safety and certification trainings (including TSA/DG via Veroot).
- Record daily training activity in designated tools and systems.
- Partner with Training & Quality leadership to develop job instructions and training materials.
Quality
- Conduct quality audits, including container checks, routing validation, placard/gaylord reviews, and label inspections.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate issues back to the appropriate station, DC, or customer.
- Provide real‑time coaching and feedback to employees to reinforce best practices.
- Support quality-focused pre‑shift meetings to build awareness and accountability.
- Maintain daily recap logs of quality findings and review with management.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional professional development a plus.
- Internal: Minimum 6 months DHL experience
External: 1 year training or quality-related experience (logistics/operations preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain tasks and processes.
- Basic Excel and general tech proficiency (email, apps, internet tools).
- Continuous improvement mindset; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Certification in TWI will be provided during onboarding.
