UAT Analyst Jobs in Trenton, NJ at Freedom Mortgage

We are seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, reporting to the CEO. In this role, you will design, implement, and review procedures and equipment for the manufacturing process while ensuring product quality through adherence to standard QA practices and ISO 9001:2015 guidelines. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have experience in both quality and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Write and revise procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
Conduct internal audits and manage Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs).
Propose and implement process improvements to reduce waste, boost productivity, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
Develop and implement standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation using knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
Identify critical dimensions and create control plans, sampling plans, and inspection procedures.
Design and develop forms, instructions, and custom tooling for use in production assembly processes.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Support the Design Control Process by reviewing design inputs and outputs to ensure quality requirements are specified and met before successful design transfer.
Develop and approve product verification plans and test methods through validation protocols and final reports.
Participate in Engineering Change Notification (ECN) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including reviewing nonconformities and coordinating supplier corrective actions.
Collaborate with Manufacturing to monitor production processes for regulatory compliance, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and ensure safe and effective product delivery.
Investigate product complaints, perform failure analyses, and document findings with health risk assessments as needed.
Oversee and execute the Custom Product process.
Author and maintain documentation and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience:
3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly and component design.
Strong background in manufacturing processes and Lean Principles.
At least 1 year of experience in custom tooling or fixture design.
Skills:
Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of technical drawings, schematics, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.
Experience with statistical tools for quality management, including SPC, DOE, and process validation techniques.
Familiarity with injection molding, PCBA, wire harnesses, machining, casting, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and regulations.
Certifications/Standards Knowledge:
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System compliance.
Experience with AS9100 standards.
Familiarity with MRB activities and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field (required).

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
