URBN Inventory Control/Quality Audit Clerk Jobs in Kansas City, KS at URBN
The Quality Auditor position is responsible for performing audits of basic records and reports and inspections of routine processes to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and corporate policies and procedures.
THIS WILL BE A SWING SHIFT WORKING MONDAY- THURSDAY, 6:00 PM- 4:00 AM, SERVING BOTH OUR SOUTHSIDE & SYCAMORE FACILITIES.
Job Duties:
Perform and document quality checks for new lots, part changeovers, destructs, rewelds, and straight walls
Receiving inspection as required
Macros (cut and etch) as required
Follow Non-conformance Procedure and Tool Break Procedure when needed
Monitor the condition of all measuring tools and check fixtures, report any damage or concerns to the Calibration Technician
Lead sorting activity internally and at the customer, as needed
Perform any extra or added tasks to the best of your ability
Assist production, management, and maintenance, when required
Communicate promptly and effectively using email, in person, radio, or other required methods
Work closely with other auditors. This includes training assistance and communicating between shifts.

Understand and practice 5S
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform repetitive bending
Willing and able to work overtime and adapt to potential shift changes
Strong communication skills
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Able to read and understand blueprints, or willing to learn
Able to use measuring tools and check fixtures, or willing to learn
Supports problem-solving efforts
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, including quality enhancements
Self-motivated and dependable
