Job Description:
Our Aerospace Environmental Simulation Laboratory is searching for a competent and experienced Interconnect Test Technician to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will write quality management quality documents, technical procedures, test data sheets, test reports, and summaries. Responsibilities:
Research test standards (EIA-364, Mil-Std, etc.) and create test plans based on the needs of our customers.
Collaborate with Test Engineers, and Quality Management Staff in order to ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented during testing.
Take test data generated from multiple sources and compose it into easy to read and understand test reports.
Perform research based on new customer requirements.
Operate Electrodynamic Shaker and Drop Shock Tester to customer and military specifications.
Instrument test set ups with accelerometers.
Program in vibration profiles.
Follow procedures in Quality Management System in order to perform testing to high customer standards.
Requirements:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
GED required, bachelors degree in related field preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
Excellent report and technical document writing skills.
Impeccable communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Excellent skills with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel – must be able to chart and graph trends, create metrics, and track and monitor data.
Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.
Ability to work independently to create and deliver results.
Hands-on working abilities.
