Candidate must have work experience in Virtual Build validation, Time study, Torque Audit, Build Book creation.
Implement process/tool/equipment modifications to support Engineering Changes and Process Change requests at Engine/Loco Assembly
Create/update manufacturing process documents – PFD, PFMEA, Safety FMEA, Control Plan, Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedures
Configure and update Standard Work and Torque tools in the Manufacturing Execution Support system (PINpoint/CAPP+/MESA)
Conduct Engine/Loco Assembly/ Dis Assembly process audit. Work with cross functional team to resolve audit findings within stipulated time
Conduct Ergonomic Study for Engine Assembly process, identify gaps and implement suitable solution to eliminate ergonomic risks.
Support continuous improvement drive by implementing improvement suggestions received from cross functional team
Support cross functional team to validate Engine Assembly issues, identify the root cause using Six Sigma methodology and support for issue resolution
Support New Product Introduction programs through procurement of process tools and equipment
Required qualification:
Degree in Mechanical/production/insdustrial Engineering with 2-3 years of experience is required/ 1-2 Years also ok
Experience in diesel engine Assembly and shop floor is required.
Flexibility to work in 1st / 2nd/ 3rd shifts.
Software Experience: Candidate must have operating knowledge of VIsMockup / CAPP+ / Creo
Soft skills requirement: Candidate must be good in communication skills and should be team player
