Washington Metal Fabricators is a large contract based manufacturer located in Washington,
MO. We have been listed by The Fabricator magazine as one of the country’s top 40 leaders in
metal fabrication for several years. We are a growing company that has an employment
opportunity for a Quality Manager
Job Duties
Develop and implement quality control systems and measures
Oversee product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Identify and control nonconforming material, and support Root Cause, and Corrective Actions.
Maintain and organize inspection records and documentation of quality tests and other quality
related activities.
Coordinate and manage staff members in the quality control department.
Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures.
Identify and implement training needs for the production team to meet quality standards
Resolve production and manufacturing problems to minimize cost and delay
Carrying out research to reduce waste and maximize resources
Qualifications
Excellent communication and listening skills with strong observational, analytical and problem
solving skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent work history in related quality
field
5-10years Previous manufacturing or production experience
Must have the ability to work with a team and be able to communicate well with all employees
throughout the company.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Imperative to have a strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently without supervision
