Role Description
We are seeking a senior manufacturing leader to support the setup and operation of a new industrial valve manufacturing facility in India.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing of Gate, Globe, and Check (GGC) valves, covering machining, assembly, testing, quality assurance, and production management.
Key Responsibilities
• Greenfield setup of a GGC valve manufacturing plant
• Manufacturing of pressure-seal, bolted-bonnet, and cryogenic Gate, Globe & Check valves
• CNC machining of valve bodies, bonnets, wedges/discs, seats, stems, and yokes (VTL, CNC lathes, machining centers)
• Valve assembly, seat lapping, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, torque control, and final inspection
• Coordination of casting, forging, heat treatment, welding, PWHT, NDT, and dimensional inspection
• Production planning, routing, capacity utilization, shop-floor management, and process optimization
• API 600, API 602, API 623, API 594, API 598, ASME B16.34 and customer specification compliance
• Manufacturing documentation, ITPs, QAPs, MDRs, traceability, and customer inspections
• Supplier qualification and management of castings, forgings, and critical bought-out components
• Team building, operational leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead and develop the engineering team, including manufacturing drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, and production documentation
Experience with reputed Indian valve manufacturers and exposure to Oil & Gas, Power, or Nuclear projects will be a strong advantage.
