We are searching for the best talent for Quality Assurance, Senior Supervisor to be located at Santa Clara, CA.
The Quality Assurance, Senior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing teams to ensure the execution of processes and activities that meet the Quality Assurance requirements for our organization’s products. This role focuses on the timely completion of key quality deliverables, coaching team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. The Supervisor will have ownership of day-to-day activities in their area, ensuring that daily inspection schedules are met and that inspection standards and procedures are adhered to.
You will be responsible for:
Supervise and manage individual contributors and supervisors within the Quality Assurance department.
Conduct effective performance management to foster employee development and accountability.
Direct workflow to implement strategies and processes compliant with regulatory standards and best practices in Quality Assurance.
Oversee documentation and auditing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Coach less experienced staff on policies and best practices for identifying potential risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Manage the day-to-day implementation of systems and processes aligned with Quality Assurance best practices.
Ensure achievement of team goals and compliance with operational standards.
Attend meetings with various departments to discuss the overall quality strategy, updates, and process improvements.
Collaborate with other functions to ensure cohesive execution of quality initiatives.
Exemplify Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions and decision-making processes.
Apply and utilize statistical methodologies for conformity assessment and investigative activities to resolve potential product and quality system improvement opportunities.
Lead and/or participate in corrective/preventive action teams in resolving production, customer, and supplier issues, including non-conformances, CAPA activities, audit findings, and complaint investigations.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or a related discipline, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and regulatory requirements is required.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and information effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with quality management systems and software is desirable.
Medical device, biopharmaceutical, or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
Understanding of ISO, GxP, and FDA requirements is preferred.
ASQ certifications (such as CQE, CRE, CQM, CQA) and/or Process Excellence certifications (e.g., DMADVV, DMAIIC, or Lean) are preferred.
Process improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is preferred.
This position may require up to a 10% of domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$105,000 to $169,050.
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
