Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory / Quality Control Support employee to assist with daily golf cart inventory and quality control activities. This position will be responsible for accurately identifying, counting, and tracking golf carts throughout the warehouse and providing management with daily inventory totals.
The employee will use an iPad to record inventory counts and will communicate daily results to management by email.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily counts of all golf carts in the warehouse and designated inventory areas.
- Accurately identify and categorize different types, models, or classifications of golf carts.
- Record daily inventory counts using an iPad and designated inventory system or spreadsheet.
- Double-check counts to ensure inventory information is accurate.
- Report discrepancies, missing units, duplicate counts, or other inventory issues to management.
- Send management a daily email with total golf cart counts and any important inventory notes.
- Assist with basic quality control by identifying carts that may need attention, inspection, repair, or additional documentation.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
- Communicate clearly with warehouse staff and management regarding inventory changes.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other inventory and warehouse support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using an iPad, email, and basic inventory applications or spreadsheets.
- Ability to learn and accurately identify different golf cart types and models.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable and able to complete daily inventory responsibilities consistently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, quality control, or data-entry experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while completing inventory counts.
- Ability to move throughout a warehouse and inventory areas.
- Ability to safely work around golf carts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift or move light items as needed.
Performance Expectations
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain accurate daily counts, timely reporting, and clear communication with management. Accuracy is especially important, as daily inventory information will be used by management for operational and inventory decisions.
Primary Goal: Keep an accurate, up-to-date count of all golf carts and provide management with reliable daily inventory information.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
