Warehouse Quality Control Inspector Jobs in Dallas, TX at A1 Wholesale
Our company is seeking a dependable Quality Control Inspector for our warehouse. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for completing thorough inspections throughout several warehouses and responsible for maintaining quality standards on all product lines. Additionally, the Quality Control Inspector will identify issues through quality inspections, respond appropriately, and propose improvement solutions. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and meeting industry regulations.
*This position is located in the Dallas, TX and surrounding areas

Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain required project inspection forms and provide results to the project manager weekly.
- Maintain vendor compliance with current state and federal safety guidelines as it applies.
- Responsible to ensure employees meet quality standards; that product that is produced within the shift follows company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure rejected material is properly labeled and controlled.
- Coordinate with Operators and Maintenance Techs, managers, direct QC manager, and team members to correct quality problems.
- Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all relating matters are managed while using the company resources in line with the Health and Safety policies.
- Perform in-process quality testing procedures and techniques accurately and thoroughly. Record required data.
- Perform quality assurance checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
- Review all aging product inventory for proper slotting and date rotation and report any problems to the local inventory team and Warehouse Manager.
- Work with Quality Control manager and team members daily
- Travel with the Quality Control manager and team members to multiple locations in company vehicle
- Independent travel may be required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Effectively operate iPad & laptop to fulfill the requirements of the position
- Must also be able to deal effectively and professionally with team members
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours daily
- Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management
- Good decision making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet critical due dates and complete tasks on own with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines
- Excellent organization, time management, and follow up skills
- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based applications
- Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Must have reliable transportation
Education and Experience:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with Health and Safety policies that pertain to warehouse safety guidelines
- 3+ years inspecting and quality control
- Proven experience in quality control and assurance
- Previous warehouse experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
