JOB PURPOSE:
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting in the administration of the warehouse, as well as other warehouse operations such as stock control and team management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Warehouse Supervision Assistance:
Assist in supervising the warehouse in terms of administration and operation to ensure optimal service.
Divide the orders among the pickers in order to execute delivery in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Divide the orders per geographical location in order to provide them to the distribution unit.
Assist in supervising the proper organization of products in the warehouse as per the set guidelines.
Extract the sales orders from the WMS in order to perform any replenishment needed in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Ensure service quality assurance to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Stock Control:
Control the container upon reception to ensure that a correct order has been received in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Control the invoice after picking in order to avoid discrepancies.
Monitor the expiry date of all products in order to ensure the best quality for our clients.
Assist in managing the return products received from clients in order to add these products to the warehouse inventory.
Team Management:
Ensure that the assigned responsibilities within the team are well performed.
Manage, coach and motivate the team in order to lead them toward high performance.
Delegate tasks effectively to others and ensure that they have the needed skills to succeed in order to have an effective and efficient flow of activities.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Technical Degree.
2 to 4 years of experience in Logistics. Experience in a warehouse is a plus.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
