Description
We are looking for candidates for the below position:
Mechanical Piping Construction Lead Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- QC Procedure, ITP, and ITR preparation.
- Vendor and subcontractor QC procedure &ITP’s review and approval.
- Welder qualification witness and approval.
- Site and shop welding and coating inspection.
- Coordination with subcontractor QC, TPI and client for inspection activities.
- Review of material test certificates and material receiving inspection of piping material, structural steel, Equipment and skid etc.
- Monitor the documents related to the work as follows, Drawing, Welding procedure, Welder qualification and Project Specification.
- Monitor the welding activities as per approved WPS and project specification.
- Line walk, QC punch issuing, Hydro test package review and witness.
- Coordination with construction & sub- contractor QC for completion of corrective action for non- conformance (NCR) and punch list.
- Conduct Audit on subcontractor and contractor and prepare audit report.
- Updating QC document list and coordination with subcontractor and vendors.
- Verification of reinstatement for piping & equipment.
- Insulation inspection for hot & Cold service piping and Equipment’s.
- Equipment & vessels internal inspection prior to Box-up Skid & vessels fabrication Stage wise inspection.
- Final MRB review and approval
- System walks for mechanical completion, issuing punch list and final verification.
- Vendor & construction ITR’s review prior to mechanical completion certification.
- Prepare and review all necessary QA/QC inspection documents and final dossier.
- Quality issue meeting with sub contactors and vendors to solve the issues.
- To support the commissioning team during pre-commissioning and commissioning stage inspection of equipment, SAT, line walk and completion package review.
- Project dossier preparation/review and submission to client.
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Must have experience in the Oil & Gas including Welding inspector and Coating inspector Certification.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- Have transferrable residency and can join Immediately.
