Are you passionate about driving project success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation? Webber, a leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamicQuality Control Manager to join our team.
Your Role:
Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the project’s quality plan.
What You Will Do:
Implement and manage the quality plan.
Oversee field Quality Control activities.
Perform quality reports and oversee QC documentation.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and standards.
Ensure adherence to the quality plan and ISO 9001 standards.
Manage nonconformities, identify resolutions, and implement corrective actions.
Attend meetings related to quality issues.
Distribute QC documentation to site subcontractors.
Verify site activities comply with applicable codes and standards.
Develop and implement training and audit programs for QC and subcontractor systems.
Review contractual specifications for materials with Construction and Procurement teams.
Conduct quality evaluations of consultants, subcontractors, and materials prior to hiring and purchase decisions.
Who You Are: A Profile of Success
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in quality control roles.
Current Professional Engineer License in Texas or ability to obtain one.
Experience with large highway, bridge, paving, or utility projects, preferably over $500 million.
Experience leading or assisting in audits of suppliers, subcontractors, or internal teams.
Management experience preferred.
Certifications in Quality, ASQ, ISO Auditor, or Construction are advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
