Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of various welding processes such as MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW), including their respective applications, advantages, and limitations.
- Develop and implement welding techniques and procedures for compliance with industry standards
- Conduct inspections and tests on welding equipment and processes
- Analyze and solve welding-related problems in manufacturing and construction
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure welding requirements are met
- Train and supervise welding personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance of welding projects
- Monitor welding processes to identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in welding technology and practices
