Role Overview
Kodak is looking for a Quality Lab Inspector to join our team.
This position will be trained to work in our PCB lab and will work both independently and on quality-related team activities. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively through visual and verbal documents &/or emails.
Description of Job:
The Quality Lab Inspector position will be part of our Operations Team and interacts with engineering, production, and management personnel within the department
Frequently interact with other personnel in the film flow as needed
Perform tasks in darkrooms on a regular basis for setting up processes
Use quality guidelines to make a quality decision, or escalate to appropriate personnel
Investigate film quality problems to find the source and root cause
Understand and follow Standard Work processes relative to film quality
Will occasionally be required to handle chemicals with correct PPE
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be comfortable both working alone and on team activities
Must pass a visual test for an examiner
Must demonstrate proper effective analytical troubleshooting
Must be able to identify quality problems and communicate effectively with teams
Must have suitable computer skills needed for recording and analyzing data and documentation
Must be able to work in the dark or in low-light conditions
Previous experience with film quality is a plus but not a requirement
