-Stratford – Kitchener, ON area. Candidates must be experienced in leading Project Quality and Engineering within custom fabrication and similar. Clear criminal check is required.
Welding Quality Engineering Manager is a
leadership
hands
-on role to oversee all aspects of the quality of new products
innovation
in quality standards maintenance for manufacturing, WIP and finished goods inventory. You will create quality standards to improve the weld and the welding processes. You will be responsible for conducting regular routine inspections on materials used, welding inspection, non-destructive testing, dimensional inspection, QA/QC documentation, WPS/WQT preparation, and technical specifications documentation creation.
You will be familiar with instruments to conduct parts inspections on fabricated parts and check WPS to ensure compliance under ASME and CWB. You will maintain all project milestones for quality standards
Welding Quality Engineering Manager will ideally have 5-6 years’ experience within
quality control
quality assurance
within custom fabrication and lead quality team. weld inspection under CWB/ and ASME. NDT level 1 is preferred Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is a MUST. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate quality, project milestone governance, define SOP for existing and new products for Ability to read and interpret blueprints and conduct first article inspections, Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system-Qualified applicants already in St.
