We are looking to hire a Quality Control Analyst II with experience in PCR technology and techniques and serological testing techniques. This position is responsible for evaluating all processes leading to the accurate and reliable generation of data for biologic products or medical devices. Quality Control Analyst II
Responsibilities:
The QC Analyst II performs general testing, maintenance, and inspections within the QC Laboratory and has additional responsibilities to ensure a quality product.
Key Accountabilities
Adheres to SOPs, Regulatory and Compliance (ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 Requirements)
Performs acceptance testing of raw and in-process materials
Performs final product evaluations
Performs stability testing on products and components
Identifies, initiates, and assists with OOS investigations
Participates in validation studies
Supports Core Team projects and deliverables
Trains new employees or co-workers
Reviews and updates applicable SOPs, FORs, and TMPs
Performs general laboratory cleaning and maintenance
Monitors and responds to room/equipment temperature excursions/alarms, this requires on-call after work hour responses
Quality Control Analyst II
Qualifications:
We are looking for a reliable and results-focused individual who can communicate effectively and professionally with a cross-functional group. Strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are also essential to this role.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, or Bachelor of Science in a related field, or Associate Degree in Medical Technology with equivalent combination of education or experience.
MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent preferred
Skills & Capabilities:
Ability to perform manual testing with required pipetting skills
Ability to identify instrument malfunctions
Ability to work with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, percentages, and ratios
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions
