QA Associate
Location: Fall River, MA
Pay Range: $62,400 – $75,400 annually
Shift: General (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, subject to business needs; some weekend work may be required)
Overview:
The QA Associate plays a vital role in ensuring warehouse operations meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. This position supports the integrity of pharmaceutical products through diligent quality assurance practices in a cGMP manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
Ensure warehouse processes comply with SOPs, cGMP, and safety regulations.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Conduct routine inspections, including temperature and expiry checks.
Maintain documentation accuracy and ensure adherence to good documentation practices.
Train staff on quality standards and operational compliance.
Monitor cleanliness, environmental conditions, and general safety within the warehouse.
Assist with investigations, CAPAs, and process improvement initiatives.
Handle and track controlled substances and temperature-sensitive materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications:
Vocational training or degree in pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial management, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of QA experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
Warehouse QA experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of cGMP and quality systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Physically able to lift up to 10 kg, walk or stand for 75%+ of the workday, and wear required PPE.
Availability to work occasional weekends and variable shifts, if required.
