Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of ROOFING construction experience, with 1+ year in a ROOFING Superintendent or Quality Control role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Hands-on experience with standing seam, TPO, EPDM, and shingle roofing systems (preferred).
- Prior experience with federal government or DoD construction projects is a plus.

About the Role
We are hiring a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee projects across Indianapolis and Central Indiana. This role demands strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure every project is completed on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. If you’re a hands-on leader who can drive results while keeping safety and quality a priority, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight – Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed per plans, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Quality Control & Safety – Conduct site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and uphold SPG’s high standards.
- Materials Management – Track and manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and transport materials as needed using company vehicles and equipment.
- Communication & Reporting – Provide daily project updates to the Project Manager and communicate with GCs, architects, and consultants.
- Equipment & Logistics – Ensure all necessary equipment, safety gear, dumpsters, forklifts, and portable toilets are on-site. (Experience with Teledyne forklifts is a plus.)
- Safety Leadership – Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
