Job Description / Responsibility
- Interpret and validate complex microbiological investigations and provide expert advice on antimicrobial therapy.
- Direct infection prevention and control (IPC) programs, monitor hospital-acquired infections, and manage antibiotic stewardship programs.
- Oversee microbiology laboratory staff, ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, and manage regulatory requirements.
- Advise physicians and clinical teams on the selection of tests for disease diagnosis and patient management.
- Lead investigations into infection outbreaks within healthcare settings.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
- MBBS with MD/MPhil in Microbiology
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Hospital, Diagnostic Centre
Additional Requirements
- At least 03 years experience as “Consultant (Microbiology) in a reputed Hospital/Diagnostic Center
