Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist to manage the day-to-day fulfillment operations of a growing e-commerce business. This role is responsible for ensuring online orders are processed accurately, shipped efficiently, and delivered to customers on time.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple workflows simultaneously, and has strong problem-solving skills to handle complex order processing and fulfillment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Fulfillment:
- Process online orders accurately and within required turnaround times
- Manage order fulfillment workflows through Shopify and order management systems
- Route orders appropriately for supplier drop-shipping, store fulfillment, or in-store pickup
- Handle multi-step supplier fulfillment processes while ensuring accuracy at every stage
- Generate shipping labels and coordinate shipment processing with relevant fulfillment locations
- Maintain accurate order statuses, tracking information, and customer records within Shopify
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently
- Identify and resolve order issues proactively before escalation
Customer & Internal Communication:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, orders, shipping updates, and availability
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding order-related concerns
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and fulfillment teams
- Provide timely updates and solutions for urgent order-related matters
Systems & Process Management:
- Utilize internal systems and operational platforms to manage fulfillment workflows
- Monitor daily order operations across multiple systems and applications
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to improve fulfillment efficiency
- Support scaling efforts by improving workflow processes as business volume increases
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with Shopify order fulfillment or similar e-commerce platforms
- Experience managing high-volume order processing and fulfillment operations
- Strong ability to manage detailed, multi-step operational workflows with high accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in daily operations
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems, software, and operational tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using order management systems or multichannel fulfillment platforms
- Background in retail or e-commerce operations
- Experience managing drop-shipping supplier workflows
- Familiarity with inventory management or point-of-sale systems
