JHC Consulting is an independent advisory practice that provides counsel to boards of directors and chief executives. Unlike traditional consulting firms, we operate as a small group of analysts who value written argument over verbal presentation. Every engagement we undertake results in a signed memorandum authored by a single principal. We are currently searching for a Content Relevance Checker to assist with our internal document review process. This is a part-time contract role. We are looking for a professional who is currently based in Morocco to join our remote workflow.

The Role
In this position, you will support our document quality assurance cycle by reviewing drafted materials for factual accuracy and logical consistency. The work involves reading internal memoranda, research summaries, and client briefs that have been assembled with the help of automated drafting tools. You will verify these documents against primary source materials, including raw interview transcripts, financial filings, and meeting notes from the principal analysts.
A typical week involves several structured review assignments. You will be responsible for identifying any claims in our drafts that are not fully supported by the provided data. This is not a creative writing position; it is a role centered on meticulous scrutiny. You will work within our document management system to flag inaccuracies, document recurring errors, and ensure that the final drafts align with the high standards of our internal style guide. You will report directly to the Documentation Lead and coordinate with our analysts to clarify any discrepancies found during your review.

What you bring
We require someone with a degree in business, law, English, or a similar analytical field. You should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in proofreading, editorial quality assurance, or business research. Because our clients are often in corporate governance and asset management, you must be comfortable reading complex financial texts and identifying subtle differences in meaning. You need to possess a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Your written English must be precise and formal. We look for individuals who understand the nuances of business logic and who have a habit of checking every citation for accuracy. Applicants must be a resident of Morocco to be considered for this engagement. You should have a quiet, professional environment for remote work and the ability to maintain strict discretion regarding the private nature of our advisory work.

Working at JHC Consulting
This is a remote, part-time contract engagement. The role is classified as an independent contractor position. You can expect to provide 15 to 20 hours of service per week, though this can vary slightly based on the current mandates of the firm. Compensation is paid in US Dollars on a monthly schedule and will be disclosed during the interview process. This is a project-based contract with an ongoing duration. You will be expected to use your own computer and have a reliable, high-speed internet connection to access our internal knowledge base and review tools.
Our firm is small by design. We choose to focus on a few significant questions per quarter rather than high-volume work. While we work remotely across several time zones, we maintain a culture of individual autonomy. You will be given a task, a set of source documents, and a deadline. We expect the work to be completed with professional discipline and a focus on the document at hand.
Our standards for documentation are high because our clients rely on our records for years. The final signed memorandum is the only artifact that matters in our practice. Each person who contributes to that final product, whether by conducting primary analysis or verifying the relevance and accuracy of the content, plays a part in upholding our reputation for rigorous independent counsel.
