Quality Control In-Process Inspector
In search for a Quality control inspector that has the capability to inspect/examine products and materials for defects or deviations from customer drawings/specifications. Candidate must be ability to use Faro Arm with Verisurf Version X10.
Duties
Quality control inspectors typically will do the following:
· Read blueprints and specifications to inspect products being produced
· Inspect/Measure products with calipers, gauges, micrometers and Faro Arm, inspecting raw material at point of receipt.
· Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
· Report inspection data with Quality Manager
· Other duties as needed supervised by Manager.
Required Qualities
Education: HS diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the field. Preferred machining experience understanding opportunities.
Math skills : Knowledge of basic math and GD&T are important because measuring and calculating dimension are major parts of quality control.
Mechanical skills : Quality control inspectors must be able to use specialized tools and Faro Arm/CMM when inspecting products.
Physical stamina : Quality control inspectors must be able to stand for long periods on the job.
Technical skills . Quality control inspectors must understand blueprints, technical documents and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards.
