Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products received from suppliers meets the required standards and specifications.
Duties
Develop and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives
Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality requirements
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues through root cause analysis
Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement
Review and approve supplier quality documentation
Participate in the development of quality standards and procedures
Qualifications
Experience working with AS9100, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001 standards
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of GD&T
Proficiency in AS400 system is a plus
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Familiarity with supply chain processes
Ability to perform quality assurance activities effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Supplier quality engineer: 3 years (Preferred)
Pharma or medical device or biotech industry: 3 years (Preferred)
