Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation scripting.
  • 4+ years of experience using JIRA for defect tracking and Agile project management.
  • 4+ years of experience using Xray for test case management and execution.
  • Experience with both Manual and Automated Testing methodologies.

Job Responsibilities

The Software Tester / QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and experience working in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution using JIRA.
  • Manage test cases, test executions, and traceability using Xray.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA Leads, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
  • Maintain test documentation, test plans, and test coverage reports.
  • Support automation initiatives by creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, testing standards, and automation coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with modern automation frameworks and testing tools.
  • Experience testing web-based enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD testing practices is a plus.
