PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a QA/QC CSA Engineer to join a major data centre project in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering quality across Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works on a large-scale, high-value project.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager and working closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, and discipline engineers, the QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes across CSA works.
The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, applicable standards, statutory requirements and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
General QA/QC
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures across CSA elements.
- Monitor and inspect site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, registers, certifications, and inspection documentation.
- Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and compliance across the project.
CSA Scope
- Inspect and verify Civil, Structural, and Architectural works, including concrete, steel, finishes, and building envelope elements.
- Review subcontractor method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
- Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely close-out of corrective actions.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet approved specifications and required quality standards.
Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with construction teams, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Provide technical support to site teams to ensure corrective actions are effective and sustainable.
- Support project reporting through regular updates of quality metrics, dashboards, and progress reports.
- Participate in project handover, ensuring completion of quality dossiers, as-built records, O&M manuals, and final QA/QC documentation.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Construction preferred.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical, or high-tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of CSA construction methods, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and managing ITPs, inspections, and NCRs.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple work fronts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically complex, and deadline-driven environment.
