Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Tester.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and execute manual and automated testing applications under modernization initiatives.
Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test matrices.
Manage defects using HP ALM and JIRA, ensuring timely tracking and resolution.
Perform backend testing, data validation, data migration, and data analysis using complex SQL queries.
Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT, or Selenium.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure test coverage across the full SDLC.
Support integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to verify system functionality and performance.
Participate in knowledge transfer activities and document testing processes for handover to state personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in QA testing with expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management using industry-standard tools.
Strong understanding of business requirement analysis, gap analysis, and validation of system changes.
Demonstrated leadership in QA teams managing multiple, concurrent projects.
Proficient in backend testing techniques, including data analysis, validation, and migration using SQL.
Familiarity with API and domain-specific testing practices.
Skilled in using HP ALM, JIRA, Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT, Postman, SOAP UI, and related QA tools.
Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
