Manage and oversee development of secure, scalable and high-quality healthcare applications, data platforms, APIs and
analytics platforms
Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices and processes
Research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies, industry trends to remain at the forefront of innovation
Ensure compiance with HIPAA regulations, data security standards and quality assurance processes
Evaluate the performance of engineering team and drive delivery excellence and incorporate innovative technologies to
maintain competitive advantage in the healthcare space
Act as a technical advisor to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on engineering
matters
Support the pre-sales activities by providing technical feasibility-based advice and build tech-POV/POC to propose solution
Work closely with product management and other cross-functional teams to translate business and customer needs into actionable engineering plans ensuring alignment with company’s objectives and healthcare compliance requirements
Build and foster business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
15+ years of industry experience and 5+ years of experience in technical leadership role preferably as Director of Engineering or similar
Experience delivering complex Healthcare solutions
Strong technical background with hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure cloud technologies, front-end programming such as REACT, ANGULAR and back-end development using Python, C# and Relational Database
Knowledge of Healthcare standards and regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, HL7, FHIR
Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
